The November 2022 downfall of FTX, once the third-largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world, caused hundreds of thousands of investors to lose billions of dollars. Numerous class and non-class actions were filed after the FTX bankruptcy, principally alleging fraudulent and conspiratorial conduct with regard to the promotion, marketing, auditing, and misappropriation of funds. These cases were all consolidated on June 5, 2023, in front of the Honorable K. Michael Moore, in the United District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
