Frank Maderal and John Byrne have dedicated a significant amount of their legal careers to public service as federal law clerks and federal prosecutors. Continuing to provide pro bono and public service is of critical importance to our firm.
Our lawyers have provided successful pro bono representation in civil rights cases pursuant to the Southern District of Florida’s Volunteer Lawyer Program and continue to provide public service to their communities.
Currently, John Byrne serves as the Chair of the Young Professionals Board at Riverside House, a halfway house in Miami that is dedicated to the rehabilitation of ex-criminal offenders, and Frank Maderal serves on the City of Coral Gables Property Advisory Board, which advises the City Commission and City Staff.
Although not a strictly pro bono service, Frank is also the Court-appointed pro se liaison counsel in the In re Zantac (Ranitidine) Products Liability Litigation, MDL No. 2924, in which role he assists unrepresented individuals in their pursuit of justice against the pharmaceutical companies.
