Record $4 Million Settlement Achieved By Frank Maderal And Nicole Estrada​

Maderal Byrne PLLC are proud to announce a record $4 million dollar settlement achieved from Miami-Dade County in a tragic and difficult case involving a paralyzed infant. The settlement was the result of much hard work and dedication. In the end, Frank and Nicole fought for approval from the County Attorney’s Office, the County Mayor, two guardians, the Circuit Judge, the Florida House, the Florida Senate, and the Governor.

“I have never seen an attorney do this” said the Court appointed guardian. “[T]his showed the level of dedication that [Frank] had in this case to pursue what is now groundbreaking aid for this young disabled child. May this outcome be an inspirational example to fellow attorneys and the communities you serve to be steadfast in your pursuit of justice against all odds.”

John Byrne Named To Southern District Of Florida Bench And Bar Conference Committee

On May 20, 2022, Chief Judge Cecilia M. Altonaga entered an order appointing Maderal Byrne PLLC partner John Byrne to the Committee for the Southern District of Florida 2023 Bench and Bar Conference. The Committee is comprised of eight federal judges and twenty-one lawyers who are charged with planning a Conference designed to, among other things, educate the bench and bar on recent developments in the law.
